Ordered new OEM fuel head and wire kit from Mopar Parts America. Installed and she runs again. While bleeding the air out, I used a one man brake bleeder kit, noticed that I was still getting some bubbles after the new filter was full. Where is the next usual fail point on the fuel system?? Thanks guys. Now to do a little reading on the lift pumps.

The line from the tank to the filter may also be leaking.

I have had the new oem head for about six months now and I am about to take it out and smash it with a big hammer. It was ok for about a week and then started leaking. I took it apart and noticed the filter mount bolt fits crooked into the upper housing, causing the filter to seat incorrectly. Found that in the middle of an 800 mile trip... Lots of silicone.
I grew up with nothing but diesels on a small farm and am going to go with a old school fuel-water separator type of filter.
I have a GDE Hot Tune and for now a in line lift pump and when I romp on it I still get the CEL. Also, when it gets below 40F or so it won't start without priming the living heck out of it. All the supply side oem connections have been replace too. Once I get this air leak issue fixed, I'll have a pretty nice little compression ignition ride.
