I worked for a bakery back in the 80's delivering to restaurants, was a great motor. The van I drove had a 4cyl Cummins w/turbo, backed up with an Automatic GM Turbo 400. The little 4 banger Cummins are nice power plants.

My buddy Eric always said we should swap one into his Chevy 4x4 but we never did. I'm thinking they might have missed it when the van wouldn't start.

Have had this Ramcharger for over 4 years. And thanks we love our Dodge, easy to work on.

That is the cleanest ram charger I've seen in years. Must not drive it in the snow.

But is reasonable clean.

If you are not towing, the 4BT is perfectly fine... I would suggest backing it with the NV4500 or NV5600...

They will have just as much power as the 318/360 and get 3 times the mileage...

I would only suggest towing if it is light loads occasionally... It can handle about anything you throw at it, but it is a small displacement for how hard you push it in that senario...

Nice ride, tell us about it. What motor, transfer case etc. I had 1977 and a 1985 Ramchargers in the past seemed like they got 15mpg no matter how you drove. I think that those were some of the best vehicles I ever owned.

I just got back from a 200 mile run with it we got 14.6mpg.
Yeah would love a cummins under the hood.

Easy to put gas in the tank when you have a $0.00 car payment for now.

I'm Gonna mis the CRD, BUT not going to mis the choppy ride, or wondering what was going to go wrong next.

Maybe the first thing you should do on that thing is to fix the broken odometer so you can accurately calculate the fuel economy.

SS - Why don't you offer to spray paint the thing so we can see if you've sorted out your color matching problems yet

flman if I was going to dump anything right now it would be the house.

4 years ago was worth $115,000, now $70,000 and we owe $88,000. How in the world can one sell something your underwater on.

kjfishman specs are 318ci(5.2l) V8 W/TBI, 727 auto, and I believe a 205 transfer case. Stock no mods, with 145,000 miles and climbing.

Leaks about a quart of oil between changes.

Could really use a set of headers and a better exhaust.
