I just installed my Powertrax, No-Slip in my Kj and it works great and NO noise at all! I used synthetic 75w140 oil in the rear diff, so that could possibly be why. I love it! I would recomend it.

Awesome! I have an open carrier and 3.73s sitting at home waiting to replace this Trac-Lok with... but I have to get my Powertrax No-Slip locker first. They are great! Can't wait to get it all installed, hopefully in the Spring.

Thanks for the awesome info everybody!

As soon as I get some funds together and the weather warms up a bit, I definitely plan on replacing my diff. Looks like I'll go with a TruTrac, as it seems to be the best balance between effectiveness and seamless engagement. Plus there are no clutch packs to worry about wearing out.

I got mine off of E-bay, it was the best price that I could find anywhere, and they have 10% off so it was only $391.50 plus $10 for shipping. Ordered it on Monday and got it on Friday. USPS was $10 and UPS was $20... I took the USPS
