The fan will still come on when engine temp hits 205 F.

Someone once posted the wiring diagram for the fan relays.
It helped make some sense of it.
Pull one relay and fan turns on LOW.
Pull both relays and no fan at all.
But you need both relays in for the fan to turn on HIGH.
The fan itself has two windings. Activate one winding for low speed, both windings for high speed.
