Still original at 116K (187K km) but planning for change before this winter. They do get used up here during the cold season...

I'm still on the originials at 158,000 miles. When I had to replace a cracked head at 150,000 miles, we did a careful inspection of glow plugs at that time, and saw no reason to replace them.

I am at 78,000 and still have the originals. Have never had any problems or codes yet. It does get cold here in Maryland. When the timing belt, p/m is done I will pull them and if needed replace.

Lost number 2 at 70000 miles; replaced all with 7 volt steel 3 ceramic spares if someone needs them.


06 Sport, 82K, eccotune, Eh mod, 7v steel, windows fixed several times, inside door handles breaking PITA.

112k on original plugs. So far so good, but all the reports on failing plugs are making me nervous.
