Hey, regarding the 3.0L MB diesel engine, it is a much better and more reliable product than the 2.8L VM. Swirl motor is a non issue if you put a provent CCV filter on it and upgrade to the improved intake assembly. If you don't wish to do that, than a 70 cent resistor mod eliminates the swirl motor completely with no check engine light.

But I agree, don't buy a GC CRD, the higher the demand, the more I'll pay for one if I decide to upgrade.
