Just did a cylinder leak test which turned out 50% at 50-60 lbs of air but went to zero with 90 psi. So it got better with more psi... That was cylinder four and now moving to cylinder three.... They are thinking a busted valve spring. Trying to get them to measure height of valves now

He has the engine pinned so it won't rotate with the pressure but he is not putting each cylinder to TDC before testing... Idk if that matters since the engine can't rotate. Third cylinder tested same as fourth

Put a straight edge across al the valves and couldn't get a .010 feeler gauge between straight edge and valves. The valves and springs all seem fine.

I am gonna go with the thing slipped/ jumped timing and we the rockers. All the rockers are shot.
Where is the best place to order rockers/lifters?
Timing belt? Tensioners?
What water pump should I use?
Best glow plugs to use?
Any help on best parts and places to order would be much appreciated.

OK. So I chose a good shop and I DO RECOMMEND THEM...again....at least at this point. lol

They just don't have any experience with this motor and set up, however they are very knowledgeable and helpful. I spent two hours with them this morning and the mechanic working on my Jeep is VERY organized and knowledgeable. The owner is also knowledgeable and very helpful. They aren't ripping me off on the amount of hours into it and they are willing to let me use their shop and tools to finish up the job along side of their mechanic. In the three weeks my jeep has been there this is the first time I have been to the shop and talked to anyone in person. I had originally hoped for a quicker fix because I was backed up with work, I will have some vacation time coming up in 10 days and I will finally have the time to work on my tractor. I don't think it is worth having it towed, everything is organized and broke down fully and they have all the tools. We shall see how it all turns out

The amount the cylinders leak down depends on the piston position. As you turn the crank you can tell that different piston positions leak down differently.........

Here is a set of rockers for sale, they are VM original and I held them in my hands, if all of your lifters are good then its a good deal, if you need one or two lifters you can just buy those from a local jeep dealer and eat the cost of the extra rockers.

Only use an OEM water pump. get the oem metal glow plugs....since its a 2005 your shop can also flash the new controller software via the DRBIII.

Idparts.com has a timing belt kit that is popular. you should also consider a new fan clutch while its all out.
