Yeah, those puppies are interesting even with the miller tool. I'll try to remember to grease them, that's definitely a good idea, thanks!

Btw, I meant to grease the cylinder body of the cp3 that goes through the bracket, that was another episode of joy for me, after I removed the pulley. There wasn't any corrosion on the aluminum parts, maybe a bit of dirt that made it slide out so hard? I had to dremel the outside lip of the cp3, the side outside the bracket towards radiator, so I really messed up the old cp3 body... Got to a point I said I'll take it out in pieces... So the cp3 was sliding out up to a point where it hanged in the bracket. I hope you won't have to deal with such nightmares, pb blaster didn't do squat for me in this case...

With the miller tool, it was a whole lot of torque on it, and then I think it popped off violently. If I'm thinking of the right time, I think I bashed my hand when it loose. That tool does work pretty well though. I would have been like you if I didn't get lucky and stumble across a miller tool set for cheap. I think it's just a bit of a tight fit (slight compression fitting?) for perfect alignment to protect the small bearings. :5SHOTS:
