I got the buy back value from the insurance company, and I was a little shocked. They are asking $2944 for the salvage rights, and because it has been salvaged once, they will only give it back with a scrap title.

I am only interested in selling the jeep as a whole.

With that being said, I think that $4000 is a fair price considering it comes with 73,000 low mileage, with proper care, GDE Eco and Trans Tunes, it has Old Man Emu 1.5" lift put on less than 5000 miles, a Magna Flow 1226 muffler, an inline lift pump, and complete Limited trim level interior. I will not part it out, as I do not have the time. I will include with it new motor mounts, a thermostat core, complete set of husky liners 6 Wix oil filters, 1 Wix Fuel filter, and a small stock of Rotella T6.

They do realize the engine is probably worth more than that, yes?

Obviously they don't know that... And nobody should be stupid enough to educate them about it.

Salvage / scrap titles can be dealt with, and for the tiny amount of damage this shows... Even buying it to part it out into another chassis is a good investment.
