The secret is knowing the part number, RL037142AA

See, for example: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=72370

Some say it is no longer available in the North America, but see:

and:

The lack of US availability for the Euro torque convertor "was" a fact a while back when DCJ slapped an export sale only on them. After some push back DCJ removed that sale restriction, apparently placed by accident, and the Euro has been available for some months. The only recent issue or question I've seen is whether or not it comes with new bolts.

If you are going in that far consider installing a Transgo kit including the pump parts or the newer DCJ transmission pump while the tranny and TC are out of the vehicle.

The low stall TC stops slipping at 1800 rpm. The med stall that the CRD comes with is 2400 rpm stall. The low stall TC uses all the power that engine produces at 1800 instead waiting until 2400. More off the line torque.

So in theory, city driving may pick up a little MPG?

I have not noticed any mileage improvement.

But the other day I was pulling a 6000lbs trailer @ 70 mph and I came up a long steep hill, foot on the floor and no kickdown. Speed just slowly increased! We have truck lanes on the two lanes highway for passing those slow trucks up the hills. I passed them all. Before I cleaned up all the trans issues this thing would kickdown all the time. I have spent many a hill @ WOT between 3000 and 4000 RPM. Not so good on the motor and no use of the torque range @ 1800-2400. Now I am getting what I think I need.

This the first time in the 2 years I have owned this Jeep that have NO warning lights and everything works.

Thanks for all the help everyone has given!
