They just got mine in and are not going to be rebuilding it.

repairs
ujoints yoke
wheel bearing
transmission cooler (currently no cooler)
fuel filter head replaced for sucking air (the piece that the filter attaches to)
normal maintenance.

what can i do to insure i do not have a turbo fail again?

the people i bought my turbo from said, i was not getting enough oil to it.
I think there just guessing tho.

They are just guessing. There really isn't much you can do to prevent it, maybe a Green Diesel Engineering tune to help prevent turbo boost spikes. Spikes are one of the main things that can damage a turbo, and overspeeding is one of the other biggies. This turbo is operated too close to its safety limits by the factory setup. The CRD should really have a larger turbo, but that would lead to turbo lag. It is all a balancing act.
