I'm not quite ready to go down the V6 airbox road yet especially if it flows less air than the current setup. I think I'll give this windowscreen modification a try if its easy enough to remove the windowscreen for cleaning. Perhaps drilling a few drainage holes in the bottom of the airbox may be in order as well.

There are already some holes in the bottom of the airbox, if I am not mistaken. It should be simple as pie to add and remove the little windscreen-- it is all just plastic and snaps together right where you see the screen at.
