Note: For me, working in that region of the engine, what works for me to to lay in-line with the vehicle, not perpendicular. Head towards front, feet towards back. Makes it much easier for me to get anything done in that spot.
I changed my CPS from underneath, was not a bad job at all...I did have it on ramps!!!
And, when my CPS first went bad, it put me on the side of the road the first time and NO codes were present. Several days later, when it skipped one morning during the warm-up cycle, it finely set a CPS code ...
