Check out the DIY ecu thread in forum #98. There are tables of the ECU codes. You need to download the hex file, find your code address, and then change the number to disable it, reupload to your ECU.

I modified the E48A0 & E48A1 entries from 11 to 00 (since that's what the 808 txt file showed relating to P0610) and I fixed the checksum by changing FDEFE from 12 to 34 and then I wrote the BIN into my Jeep but the P0610 is still there.

Maybe I did something wrong?

Justin.

E48A1 looks like 0602 from the list. E48A0 does look like 0610.

I also see 0610 listed at E48E8 in the list. I certainly missed getting all instances of the code deleted when I did it the first time.

Aha, it's trickier than I thought. :) I didn't think to search the rest of the file for the code. The four columns threw me off, any idea what they're for? The E48A0 line has two empty columns and then P0610 in the two right hand columns. Looks like some lines have more than one code on them so maybe it's just a way to show all the codes for that address.

P0610 shows up again on line 232 of the list with three other codes but there's no address on the right hand side.

Thanks,

Justin.

I managed to get it working. I disabled the P0610 and P0102 codes so no more check engine light. It still would be nice to figure out glow plug voltages or something to help with cold starts but spring is coming soon so not urgent.

Thanks,

Justin.

Good to hear, it annoyed me for many years. I was very happy when I had the 0610 deleted, and EGR turned off. Basically since I got it in 07 the MAF has been unplugged so I always had a CEL. Its nice to have EGR off, P0610 deleted, and the CEL working like it should.

I also want to look at the GP management. I need to get my oscilloscope out some morning but I am more in a rush for work, and its cold, and blah blah blah.
