I understand what they use it for but unplug it and go for a drive...

Quick Update... after taking apart and cleaning the turbo, new EVM, and new thermostat, I have 16 psi boost upon acceleration finally... but only when vacuum solenoid is bypassed so i do need one of those. After installing the thermostat, i get up to operating temperature when driving but back down to ~50 degrees, getting closer

Thanks WWDiesel, I have one ordered and should be in tomorrow. This is one of those rare parts where it's actually cheaper to order through dealer than online, well here in Canada anyway.

***Update*** I am finally getting boost and coolant getting up to temperature when driving, but goes back to 70 when i stop and idle for a while, not sure if that's normal. Also, my turbo makes a quick screeching noise (almost like a cat crying) when first accelerate but then goes away. Again, not sure if that's normal or if anyone knows what could be the issue.
