UFO,

I'll be ready to pay by next week. Is that ok or do you need the $ sooner.

Thanks

Excuse the ignorance but I am completely new to this whole diesel thing. What does this modification do and will it cause my vehicle to fail emissions tests in Wisconsin? The only reason this sparked my interest is the recent news about the 2.8L being offered as a swap motor through Jeep performance and they mentioned the EGR problems? My Fiance' has a diesel Libby so I'm trying to find out what this is all about. If there is all ready a post discussing this please direct me. Thanks.

I do not know of any emission testing taking place in WI for diesel cars or pick ups .I have owned diesels for 20+ years and have never been required to test as of yet, just renewed one Libby crd registration yesterday at the Wisconsin DMV office,NO TEST. There could be testing in the future but not right now. Testing would really make a lot of happy campers in this state (NOT!)especially after they raised all the registration fees. With this off road mod the egr can be re-enabled with the bypass plug if testing is required .Just a few short years ago the state of MN discontinued all of their gasser emission testing .

Hey guys I'm back from Mexico. My son and I went down for a week to build 2 new classrooms at a small school in a super small and poor city in Chihuahua Mexico. We drove the CRD down and it never missed a beat on the Mexican oil. I will answer all emails and PM's tommorrow after some much needed rest. I will also updated the signup list with who has paid. There are also still a few spots left if anyone else is interested. Thanks for your patience. Dennis

P.S. Thanks to all who have mailed or paypaled paments.

I ordered a few extra kits for those who might have missed the deadline. Let me know if you want one of the extras.

Hey LocoCRD. I was wondering if you still had any SEGR kits remaining. I know I'm late to the boat, but I'm hoping you have an extra. I'm very interested in acquiring one. I'm willing to assemble myself. Thanks. Have a great holiday.

FYI for anyone else who did not sign up but wants a kit PM me as there are extras available, but don't wait too long, cause it might be another 6+ months if we ever do this again.
