This past weekend I saw a CRD at Nelson Ledges Race Course in Ohio at the 24 hours of Lemons event, but I didn't get a chance to track down the owner. Hopefully someone from here!

Nelson ledges, I got a rod knock there about 4 years ago in my convertible.

Hi All. Up here in the great white north (ok just a couple of centimeters (1"))
in the Edmonton Alberta area we seem to have more than our fair share of these great jeeps. I probably see at least one or two per day. And if you check out www.autotrader.ca, and check on the Edmonton region, there are around 15 for sale. They are priced between $18 to $25000 though.

They must be wanting to keep them at that price.

Last time I checked, in the US we have to jump through a lot of hoops to get a car in from even Canada unless it is 15 years old or more. Even though with the CRD the only difference is the Speedo/Odometer. $t#pid Gov.

Oh: If you have a (pro Jeep/Diesel of course) Friend or Relative who wants to get elected to a public office in Canada, have them change their first name to "Tim" and their middle name to "Hortons", they would win in a land slide. Tim Hortons Bucklanddj would be a winner for sure :!: :!: :!: :D :D :D :D

Today at work I pulled into one of our offices and parked next to a grey Grand Cheroke Diesel. I found out later the owner is a consultant working for us.

Saw a dark blue CRD this morning, B/W Parkway/295N. Got off at the BWI airport exit. I was driving the old Stroehmann bread truck you passed.

I saw a blue CRD on Saturday, November 7th when I pulled into the parking space it was leaving at the Conoco on University and Evans near DU. One of these days I'm hoping one of the CRD's I see will belong to a member here. It would be nice to talk owners out here about reliable shops (dealer or independent), and how well the GDE tune works at altitude.

Wanted to stop ya but I had to get to the job, people waiting for me. I saw you pull out and thought it was a reflection in a mirror. Roof rack and all. When I install something new I'll write ya so you can do the same.
Be good
Greg

RED CRD parked inside the gates of Salt Lake City Community College. Parked same spot everyday so must be one of the instructors, possibly diesel mechanic instructor.
