I just took mine out today - the shifts are a lot smoother. With the resistor - the 1-2 shift while the trans was cold - felt almost like a manual powershift without the clutch.

I did the same thing today as well. My Suncoast and Transgo kit with the resistor were installed last week.
I liked the crisp bump shifts the resistor provided in each gear but for the past couple days, my 2-3 shift intermittently would chatter shift. So instead of a bump shift, it would try to shift 2-3 as "bump, bump, bump" in very quck succession and then finally shift.

I knew the springs in the valve body and the accululator in the pump from the shift kit firmed up the 2-3 shift, but the added resistor for me was sometimes too much for the 2-3 piston in the valve body. However, with the resistor out, the rest of the shifts are now less crisp, but the 2-3 shift is behaving better.

Line pressure showed that peak was 160 during driving with a DRB hooked up

I put the shift kit in during the recall by Chrysler, and called TransGo, they suggested that I remove the transitor
and the shifts became very smooth after, not always if I am not under load, but 98% acceptable for now.

Be interesting to note how TCM reacts to this sudden change, after the 'learn' perod is over
