Riding the Ring is one of my life goals.

I'm completing race school tomorrow (motorcycle race school), and the class will conclude with a "mock race" which will fulfil one of the items on my "to do" list. To race on a race track. Done plenty of track days, but never an actual race.

When I leave the school, if I fall into money, I might try a few WERA races. I'd like to get on an endurance race team to share the costs a bit.

Well if you need a guide for the Ring let me know. My wife will be staying in Germany so I will alwasy have a place to fly into and can get the the Ring in no time. Plus the race car will be here.

I have actually driven all of that. The Grand Prix course at the bottom is called the Sued Schleife (South Course) and is not open to the public. I got my National Class A DMSB/FIA Race License there. That was a killer class, I am glad I knew most of the class as the it was all in German and my German was not that good at the time. The best part was the track was wet and all the real race cars where brought to my level and had to work to keep with me. I love racing in the rain.

That's sweet!

I'd love to do some car racing, but it's so dang expensive. Heck, motorcycle club racing is pretty pricey, but not as much as car racing.

Now that I have completed my race school and am "Full Competition Qualified", I can race as a provisional amatuer in a number of motorcycle racing events....I just need a bike to do it with.

No way I'm racing my street going sportbike. I'd hate to wad it up.

Nice work, i have always wondered what the CRD KJ would hit. I have had mine slap 170kph a couple of times and it was still pulling but with the lift etc there was just way too much air underneath the car and it felt too unstable to go harder.

Thumbs up.... nice work.
