I am neither Canadian nor American but I do live in Canada (just 4.25 Miles North of the 49th) - so you might regard me as an independent observer. It is my experience that no matter what nationality there are always folks who like to bash others for reasons that we don't need to discuss on this forum. This type of verbal bashing does nothing to restore relations between the U.S. and Canda - neither does it help anybody on this forum.
Sure, some stick more to the thread than others, but who said we only to have "sticky" threads. Instead of bashing why not ease back to the original thread by being positive - or simply move to a forum where might feel more at home?
Just remember: our Jeeps are built in the U.S.A., this L.O.S.T. forum was not started by Canadians or Europeans................do I need to say more.
I for one enjoy all the positive contributions - lets stay out of politics!

oh BS, I'm a Canadian living in the US, i get sick of the constant anti american crap from my fellow Canadians. They have been so conditioned to the political climate in canada they haven't realized yet that the hate of the US that is so popular is driven by the need of the political elite to foster a distrust/dislike of the US so that the unsuistainable welfare state ensures their power remains. If most Canadians really understood the US they would be begging for the freedoms here. The idea of Canada being a first world country or even a true demorcracy is a farce.

In cased my fellow Canadians disagree, so what? I'm a Forces vet., service in the first Gulf war and UN Peacekeeping. As such I earned this right to express my view.

Stop with the politic's here or the thread will disappear. This is suppose to be a tech section not political section.

Hmmm .... are you sure that the ticking sounds like it's up top (valve train?) I would definitely try to get a better idea where it is coming from, take it to the dealer and force them to listen ... if it's up top, could possibly be valve train or injector, but without listening, I'm hard pressed to tell for sure. If it's coming from bottom end and is that loud, I'd be worried ....
