I would bring some KK dounuts but 180 mi, they would never make it especially if the "Hot Dounuts" sign was on. The house and Garage look great. I will be over Friday afternoon,

Hey Greg you could hook up with DZL_LOU and let him tow you, might save you 3 or 4 hours of travel time.

We will be bringing Fumoto's for the CRD. Walt the Westt is tunning and running fine 55 mph is easy now and it will even get to 60 mph going down hill as long as you don't have a head wind.

Wow, I guess I will bring all of my googies to play with as I am on the road to Maryland this weekend. Again towing a trailer full of motorcycles mshould be a great time. Need to do some more maintenance on the CRD. I am not going in for any computer updates before the GTG as the Jeep runs pretty good as is.

Whenever the wife gets it ready, probably around 0700 is my guess for when B&G is served. Drag your butt over for some if you like, we usually sit around in garage and eat and BS while some nut get started early turnning a wrench. Get here eary enough Friday and you feel up to it after the drive, buzz over and see what is happening, someone will be turning a wrench I am sure. I was thinking about having Jeff from Rocket Chip doing a chip job on the CRD, but not sure it would be worth the $$$$ as I seldom drive the Jeep.

0700 sound about right. As for Friday we should roll in town about 3 pm get checked in to the motel and then I will be over. If you don't drive it and your wife is happy with it ??? don't mess it up. Mine always says don't mess with it but, after it has been souped up she always likes it more. I guess I am lucky that way.

Weather forcast is for 35* Saturday morning with high in low 60's, sounds like Fall is getting ready to make a grand entrance.

Uh, what parts? Don't you have everything we need??

I will have a variety of stuff in the back of my Jeep.

Let someone drive it today and he said it turned really short like the old CJ-5s. He was right when you think about it but it has all the Bling of an 06.

From ealier post on previous page:

Talked with local parts shop asst mgr (Jason) and he will let us have any parts for members of the GTG/forum for employee price + tax.

Air filters $15.00 each

Oil filters $10.50 each or $114 (that's a $12 savings) for a case of 12 filters.

Fuel Filters $29.00 each.

Remember this is including taxes. If prepaying you may be able to get it without tax, but not sure and I forgot to ask. So ask about that if you prepay.

If you want to prepay with CC and have me pick it up and have it here at GTG then call Jason at 573-785-7485 tell him you are coming to Walt's diesel GTG and what you want to buy, this is the wholesale direct line in parts dept office of Larry Hillis Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Sprinter dealership. If you want to confirm that for any reason call the dealer at 573-785-5769 and the receptionest will answer and direct your call.

Also Jason will offer the same for any part(s) you may want to order and can ship it to you if needed. So if someone wanted to put on skid plates you could buy them from him at employee price and install them here or just pick them up here, have the dealer ship them to you, or at dealer because they are open on Saturdays. I do have the tools to install the special rev-nuts and even floor jack to assist you if you want to install the plates here before leaving for home.
