Mr. RabidRdKill I got the hose from you today, thanks.

Hopefully before the end of the week I will be able to send out a package to Samco!

Exciting!

I got this message back from them:

Thank you for enquiring as to the Jeep Liberty CRD Hoses, everything seems to have gone a little quiet over the last couple of weeks from the forum guys. Until I get a complete set of Turbo hoses I really can’t progress the project any further. I have checked here in the UK with our Jeep dealers who tell me that the hoses are not available in the UK; anyone who supplies the complete kit to me will get a set of Samco replacements sent to them free of charge.

Perhaps you could post this suggestion on the forum for me?

Thank you for your email, please don’t hesitate to email me should you have any questions.

Best regards,

Mark Hale.

Sam,

The CAC outlet hose went to you yesterday. It should be there Saturday, I believe, via USPS.

I tried to wipe out most of the oil, but it is hard to get to the inside. It is still dripping a bit.

Looking forward to hearing how your "free" hoses fit!

Bill

 I've been in touch with paul, he knows that I am sending him a set soon. Im not exactly sure what working relationship mark and paul have, but sometimes they seem to have contradictory information in their emails.

I guess Ill shoot another email off to paul and let him know I am sending the hoses out to him monday.

Ok excellent.

Last time I brought up the set they offered me they simply didn't respond to the question, whatever. If they do come through ill pass that along to you guys who actually provided the hoses.

Glad it made it - hopefully the box wasn't too oily when it arrived!

and one more thing. "Mr. RabidRdKill"? Jason or Rabid will do - Like the guy from Cerberus said in an interview after they bought Chrysler - The name seemed like a good idea when I first picked it... It was actually the name of the IM softball team I played on in college. Believe me the name fit us then!

Jason

Personally I find it somewhat humorous to refer to people by Mr and then their handle, and yours is prime territory for it.

I just checked mine today, and they are disgusting! What kind of cheesy material was used here to allow oil to seep through like that? Any idea how long the sweaty hoses may last? Long enough to get a silicone unit I hope?

Yeah I'm hoping mine will last until the silicon's are out.
Don't particularly like the price tag the Aussie dealers are chasing for a replacement pipe.

Heard back from Samco now:

Quote:
Hello Guys,

We have now taken delivery of the CRD hoses, thank you to whoever sent them in to my colleague Paul. He is away on holiday for a couple of weeks but I know that he will contact the sender of the hoses when he returns.

In the meantime please could someone identify the location of the hoses on the CRD in the attached photo, and then we can start production.

Best regards,

Mark.

Sending him an email back now!

I'll try and describe the locations via the pictures I have, I will also look through the FSM to see if it has a nice diagram I can send along too.

Woot!
