This is my first UOA, ever. Got it from Blackstone Labs. I feel good about the result.
COMMENTS:
DARREN: Universal averages show typical wear levels for this type of engine after about 6,200 miles on the oil. You ran this oil only 5,000 miles and wear metals read low, as expected. Silicon was the only element out of line, but at 10 PPM above average we are not going to complain too much. Since engine wear looks good, we think the silicon is harmless. The viscosity read normally for a 5W/40, and the TBN read 7.8 showing lots of active additive left. You mentioned that you might be interested in longer oil use, well if you go towards yes, we suggest trying 7,000 miles.

I was running ORM for the majority of this OCI, and got the GDE tune with about 1,000 miles to go on the oil. I installed my EHM when I did this fill-up of oil as well, though that shouldn't affect the UOA. MAP sensor was only oily when I cleaned it doing the fill up for the oil.
I will get an analysis on my next OCI, and also check my MAP sensor for increased soot. That should give us a good idea of EGR restriction on the GDE tune.
