Well after my morning starbucks I headed back to work, and when gunning the CRD to get accross the rather busy street i work on I heard a loud POP!.. Then bam no power what so ever. I was ucky I didnt get hit.

Got to the lot opened the hood and saw that the hose going to the EGR Mix Valve popped right off.

Thank you DC!

Yeah with 4,000 miles on the clock I pulled out onto a busy street and traffic was coming up behind me rapidly so I hit the throttle...nothing. CRD started jerking and bucking and almost completely died on me. I'm lucky I didn't get hit too.

Thanks DC!

Well, called two dealers. Neither have seen a CRD come back to there lots for anything. Both said just connect the hose back up and see if it happens again.

Great.

That's what you get for drinking overpriced coffee.

But seriously, that could have been scarier had you been hit. At least you made it safely to work. How is the hose attached?
