Welcome to the Group!

My Sport CRD is Atlantic Blue. Seems like the first few weeks are the best.

Could you look on the door sticker and let us know what the manufacture date is? There is an ongoing discussion on who might have the last one made.

This is the place to be. I wish I had that color but I took what they had. Good luck!

I agree with groucho on this one. I wanted the red, got silver instead. But I like it nonetheless. :)

Enjoy your rig!

Another newbie checking in, actually picked up my CRD in May06. I was reviewing this site from the outside for a while. I had not seen the CCV posts from OldNavy before getting mine but assume I would have still bought one. I traded in a 03Ram3500 dualy with the CTD before that I had a 94Ram2500 CTD. With the bed being empty 90% of the time I could no longer justify the $80/week fillups! I also purchased a 6.5x10 trailer for the occasionaly landscape and HomeImprovement job. 3600+ miles so far and no problems, I checked the input Air line to the CAC and sure enough a thin coat of oil. I've been reading up here and will be implementing the 'elephant hose' fix for the time being once I get a little down time with work. I foolishly decided to ask the question on of oil in the CAC line on the the 'Dr Z' website and received the following reply....

*******************************************************************************

Thank you for contacting Dr.Z. Your message has been forwarded to us for response.

Unfortunately, the information you are seeking is currently unavailable.
General information on the subject matter may be available through the Service Department of your local Jeep dealership.

Unfortunately, given the many variables involved, we are unable to diagnose your vehicle's problem via email. We recommend contacting your authorized DaimlerChrysler dealership to arrange an appointment for proper diagnosis and repair.

Our dealerships have the factory training, equipment and information available to them to diagnose and correct problems with DaimlerChrysler Motors Corporation vehicles. Should your dealer require factory assistance, it is available through the regional Business Center.

If you have been working with an authorized dealership but the problem is not yet resolved, seeking a second opinion from a different dealer may be a viable option.

Thank you again for your "Z"mail.

*********************************************************************************

Anyhow judging by the chatter here I may just take it to the dealer to let them see the oil and document the problem for a paper trail not expecting any resolution.

I've been keping mileage records and no complaints here, most tanks are 20-24mpg mileage to gal caculations done at each fillup, most driving 50/50 city hwy, but hwy here in the Balt/DC area can be just like city :-( . My only extended hwy trip two weeks after getting the CRD netted me 27mpg much easier on the wallet than the 03 Dually! Sorry for the long winded post ...keep up the good work and any cool (useful) mods I do I'll be sure to post
