I discovered a tranny leak this morning. Has anyone else had this problem. I have 8,800 miles on the vehicle. Would this be a precurser to more tranny problems?

Shred,

Have you made any head way on your leak? I noticed that mine is leaking at the output shaft to the rear end today. I it looks like a seal is bad, or was not seated correctly. It should be relatively painless to replace. Odometer reads 1800 miles.

I called the customer service person for DC because I had already filed under the lemmon law. She made an appointment at the dealer near my house and they are doing the tranny TSB. I had them change the oil while they were looking at the tranny and now there are oil leaks on my garage floor. I am still waiting for the parts to come in before they can fix the tranny.

I have decided that this vehicle has had too many problems to keep. I really wanted this CRD to work out. It has been in the dealer for one thing or another for almost 20 days in 5 months.

Sounds more like a poor quality dealer, then the CRD.
