| Post subject: | Ball Joint Fix? Moogs? |
I (read: my wife) am very concerned about a possible ball joint failure. We had a ball joint go on a 93' Accord at 45 MPH on an off ramp. We ended up in that pretty grassy area between the interstate, the overpass, and the off-ramp. Needless to say, in a Liberty that might not go as well as the Accord did. Do the moogs help resolve this problem? Has anyone had issues with the aftermarket ball joints? I am looking for a preventive measure that will keep us and our Jeep on the road and out of trouble! Thanks! |

I'd probably post this on the KJ 4x4 main forum, there are more people that look into that, this right here is more diesel specific. I am not sure, but I remember hearing something about Al's upper control arms (which include the ball joint I believe) and they are supposed to be pretty good, and greaseable. |

That is not the ball joint in question...it is the Lower Ball Joint |
