Hi All,

Obviously a warranty issue, I have a leak between the "adapter" and what I think is the torque converter housing.
Just curious if anyone with a manual can tell me what this "adapter" that the red lines point to is called and if it's indeed filled with engine oil ?.
It's leaking right on the line where the blue factory mark is.....

Here's the pic.

I am sure someone will correct me!  What I am seeing is a picture showing the transmission bolting to the engine with a spacer plate between the two and the bolts going through those and into the oil pan on the motor. The points that you indicate are on the motor side. What color is the luricant/oil? If it is black it is leaking out of the oil pan.

Someone else had the same problem...It ended up being the OIl Filter or Oil Pan Plug. The wind blew the leaking oil to the same location and made it look like it was coming from those bolt holes. If I am not mistaken, those bolts holes do not lead to any fluids.

The other post was a couple/few weeks ago...you can probably page thru and find it

Thanks for the reply, oil is black, and leaves nice soot spots on garage floor.

The oil filter has been changed already does not seem the cause, the bolts do not seem to hit any fluid,
I took each bolt off to check, they are all dry as a bone, it's leaking right at the seem.
Not sure, but I'm guessing rear crank engine seal.
Maybe someone with a manual can tell me if the plate inside is suppose to be dry or wet.

If it is black it is the crankcase. The picture seems to show that you have or have has a little leakage at the filter or they didn't clean up too well after the change. I would guess that DW is coser to the mark on the problem.
