For those of you have a filter minder - where did you buy, what brand, and how much? I didn't find anything doing a search ... thanks in advance! |

I didn't find anything doing a search ... thanks in advance! Bought mine from a NAPA heavy duty truck parts store. It a Filterminder brand boxed and sold under Navistar label @$13 including hoses and fittings. Look in yellowpages for heavy truck parts or HD truck dealers in your area. |

Are the filter minders rated for a certain engine size? |

Just need to watch the style you get, have a good idea of where you want to locate the device in advance of purchasing. Personal choice, got a remote mount style (bracket) because the clearance to remove the airbox lid is tight. Chose to mount the bracket on the front face of the airbox base (sideways above the plastic intake tube) with rubber hose run to a fitting drilled into the lid near the MAF. The way the fitting is mounted and hose routed, it is tucked under protected by the MAF and other wiring. Make sure you leave enough slack in the hose to remove the lid. |
