Hooked the boat to the jeep up this AM and got aboout a 1/2 mile and lost throttle responce , engine went to idle speed wouldn't change. I had to pull over and turn it off and back on. Anyone else have this issue happen?

Last PCM flash did they change the operating system to Microsoft hence the need to power off and back on frequently?

Did you have the recall flash performed recently? I had a limp-in mode happen while driving when a turbo overboost code showed up. Wouldn't move past 1100-1200 rpm until I pulled off the road and restarted the engine.

Man that's not good news. I'm going to have to keep mine away from the dealer until they issue the next recall - the one that fixes this problem.

This sounds identical to what happened to me a couple of days ago. I did post the info regarding it going into limp home as I as accelerating on the freeway. Very disturbing for a car with less then 600 miles on the clock. Same thing, pulled over and restarted...all was fine. I did file a complaint with the NHSTB (or what ever the name) on the loss of power. I would suggest you do the same.

It seem to me that anytime we get invoved with a problem that has safety implications....filing a complaint seems like a proactive measure.
