Can someone that intends to have this recall performed please get a before and after dyno run. I bet this board would be willing to pay for the results, or atleast subsidize the cost. I am having a hard time keeping up with all the text going back and forth on the F37, and would love to see some definitive results.

Thank you,

Greg

Or as DarbyWalters as suggested, use a G-tech, Beltronics, or other accelerometer to measure performance before and after the recall. You would have to eliminate any variables though, make sure the jeep had the same amount of weight, same location temps, etc. Heck it looks like someone could buy one of those for about 100-150 bucks.

I would put the money in but only if it was done right. Someone, someday might need this in court and it needs to be legit.

I was planning to do this anyway. Not sure if I'll go with a G-Tech or just a dyno. My neighbor is one of the local performance guys for the local SRT-4 club. I will ask him for a lead to a dyno or maybe a G-Tech.

I would guess before and after dyno sheets would be stronger legally than g tech results. I am not a lawyer, this is just my opinion.

The reason a G-Tech or similiar measurement device would be nice is it would be the cheapest way to get a large sample. If you test "ONE" KJ on a dyno, that is not enough of a database to draw any substantial conclusions. There are over 100 CRD's at least active on this forum. 100 (or about 1% of total KJs) is a good sampling to draw conclusions.

We would just have to get 25 or so members with $10 each to buy one and pay shipping to each of the participants. $10 to test a lot of parameters on your KJ. Then we would have some numbers to work with.

Anyone know what the curb weight is on a CRD. I have a G-Tech and can get figures. Sadly, I didn't think about my G-Tech to get a baseline before I went in for F37...DOH!
