North American Diesel Performance http://nadp.ca

I ran into these guys last night at my local drag strip in Edmonton while running my hemi 14.5 in some crappy weather. ;) Turns out these guys are based here right in town, and claim to have the fastest Cummins around running 11.2 in the 1/4mile. One of their guys came up to me wanting me to dump my hemi, well the entire drivetrain in the truck and stuff a cummins in my half ton, the same setup out of there 11.2 truck. 3000lb's lighter with that setup would make some impressive numbers. That ain't gonna happen anytime soon, that's a serious investment and I should really gernade my hemi first before I think about putting anything else under the hood.

I got to talking to them a little bit about my CRD and asked if they carried anything for them. They said they did carry the usual stuff that we all know about, exhausts, intakes, programmers... However they also do their own trannies, specialize in converters and such. I think I am going to swing by next week and mention some of the common problems with the crd and see what they say and if they have a fix. The EGR valve and the Converter are the main two that come to mind, is there anything else I should ask them about. Wonder if they want to build up a CRD to run with some Mustangs at the track. ;)

Ask them how to shoe horn in a 5.9 or 6.7 liter Cummins.

I think all of us would be interested in what they can do about the EGR. Let us know what their thoughts are on this. Thanks!
