 Post subject: a rim selection

i have a 2006 crd and was wondering if you can run 15x8 rims or do i have to stick with 16x8 and what is our bolt pattern and backspacing for a 31x10.50 or 245 70s

I have 245/70/16 on my CRD on stock Wheels, and no lift No rubbing at all. As for your question yes you can run 15x8 wheels on the CRD. I think the back spacing is 5 inch

I don't see why you couldn't run 15" rims. Bolt pattern is 5x4.5" (5-114.3mm).

Oh... That's a good question, and I have no idea. But, why don't you measure against the current rim for clearance? Or, maybe Tirerack.com or another wheel dealer could help. All you need is 1/2"...there's probably a good chance it'll fit.

Check the forum on tires and wheels, some 15in wheels fit, some don't. In general it looks like steel 15 inches clear the disk brakes ok, but most alloy's won't
