http://www.fitchfuelcatalyst.com/produc ... index.html I've been talking with the manufacturer of this product about creating a new application kit for the CRD. They are sending me one for a gas Libby to evaluate and see what else might be needed to make it work. I'm not sure how much it will affect MPG or power, but considering the trend in diesel prices anything is worth a shot. Anyone ever try one of these? |

This seems overly complicated for the benefits you get from it. Why not just try a Diesel fuel additive, such as PowerService or Standyne. They all increase the fuels lubricity, cetane number, and increase power and MPGs, and they are available in different versions, such as winter specific that lowers the gel point significantly. You pour in a small amount (4oz for most) every tank and thats it. I'm currently using PowerService's Centane Boost, comes in a white bottle. You local truck stop will have it. cevans |
