hey i was wondering if i do a 2.5 lift with 31 or 245's how bad would this hurt my performance and would a chip maybe compensate for some of it

It will be a tad slower, and fuel economy will go down a little bit. The chip will help both. A 245 is not a huge tire, so the difference is minimal, but noticeable.
