Since the Jeep Liberty CRD is a different kind of animal, it would be nice to know which dealers welcome our CRDs into the garage. It would also be nice to know which ones have a certified Level 4 mechanic that has had the extra training needed to properly work on the CRD. Some of you might already know the problems I am having with my CRD...a catastrophic malfunction ( 10-18 ). The main thing that I like about them is the fact that they have not given me the run around. My Service Advisor (Robert Froboese) does not pretend to know what the problem is and is keeping me informed of any progress. It has taken a few extra days for a mechanic to get to work on my CRD but they extended my rental term and put me in a Jeep Grand Cherokee (10-24). They explained that the Level 4 Diesel mechanic was out a few days and that was what caused the hold up as to the diagnosis. Today the Service Manager (George Johnson)switched me over to the Jeep GC and are doing the "teardown" of the CRD to find out the extent of the damage. I don't know what the outcome is right now, but at least I am a little more confident that I will be taken care of fairly. So far , So good! They told me they would get this issue settled by today (10-25) and they did. They are installing a brand new engine/turbo...expected to arrive in 5 working days at most (10-31). It is really nice to have a business stand behind thier word, keep you updated and do the right thing. DC oked it without any problems. Sigh of Relief... Friday 11-03 and got the call!!! KJ is ready to pick up. I will know in a few days if everything is A-OK. Got it this afternoon. The CRD was the only one in stock stateside. It came complete...engine, turbo,alternator, ac compressor. EGR, everything including the belts. They also performed the UBJ Recall automatically. |

Barton Jeep 10819 East Sprague Spokane, WA 99206 (509) 928-1300 I don't know about the level of their tech but they have done everything I asked and provided excellent service. When I kid them about ball joints they don't tap dance and act as though they have never heard of the problem but rather roll their eyes and say "We check every Liberty that comes through for anything and make sure the LBJ's are OK before we let it out the door." I just had my LBJ recall done. Since I knew that others had experienced issues with the dealers having them on allocaion and since mine was an '06 I called on Monday to make sure they would have them in stock. They did and I had them done yesterday along with the TCM reflash recall. That and an 18K service and I was in and out of the door in 2 hours. Not bad. |

So far there has been mimimal "unable to replicate". Some items Jeep has not stepped to the plate but the dealer has been on my side in all instances. They seem to really value thier 5 Star rating. |

Courteous, friendly, quick and Service Advisor lady knows her job. They also have a Dodge dealership next door. I made the appointment on internet and all went well. I cannot comment on sales as I didn't purchase there. If I get another Jeep, I'll start with them. They have website; find through Jeep.com UPDATE: Egolf did the F37 for me during past 2 days. During 25 mile test, transmission worked as it should have when new: no crunches, no jerks, no bouncing, shifts smooth and barely perceptible with power at least as good as before. Technician did the Quick Learn run in and trans fluid was on the mark. This service department is professional. It is also a Dodge dealer and they sell quite a few Dodge Cummins, so they have diesel technicians. If I go Jeep again, I definitely give them the first purchase attempt. 3/23/07 |

Extreme Jeep McHenry,IL they did all recalls on the tranny for me. they even skrewed up the flash on one of the recalls and gave me a loaner jeep to make up for thier mistake. replaced my EGR in under a day and were great to deal with when purchacing the CRD. |

Rosedale Dodge Roseville, MN 55113 Rosedale goes the extra mile. Repaired in a resonable amount of time and on the first visit I might add. Not bad when they don't sell Jeeps. Maybe that's the key...Take the Jeep to a D/C dealer that does'nt sell them. Ah Ha........................ |

Bill Luke Jeep/Chrysler Phoenix, AZ ***second vote for this one*** I can second Zonie's choice of dealerships in Phoenix (2425 W. Camelback Road Phoenix, AZ). I drive out from San Diego to visit friends and use Bill Luke Jeep/Chrysler because it's like driving into a Ferrari service center. This dealer actually lives up to the 5 star rating (since Chrysler made everyone 5 stars). Also worked with service advisor Earl Gould 602-336-1530. Unlike the dealer here in San Diego, the first thing he did was to pull up my VIN# and inform me of warranty work...had my ball joints replaced while getting all the oils replaced. Highly recommended, worth the 5 hour drive to get there. |

Pro Chrysler Jeep Thornton, Colorado Finally I've found a good dealer near me - their information is listed below, and what makes them great is they do a 23 point inspection of every vehicle in for service (includes checking and topping off fluids, tire pressure check, etc) and wash your car. Excellent communication and very friendly staff all around. The name is Pro Chrysler Jeep located in Thornton Colorado - located just north of Denver off of I-25 at West 104th Street. |

Gresham Chrysler/Jeep Gresham, OR. They are off road friendly, install ARBs, etc. in the shop, have a pretty good variety of accessories on hand and hand out flyers for the next club outings at the service desk. |

Adam's Jeep Route 22 Aberdeen, MD 410-879-5800 If you call, ask for John Lockes, he is one of the service managers at Adam's and knows his stuff with the CRD. Adam's has been nothing but good to me and always works on getting my CRD in quickly if I am waiting around for it. There is another Adam's Jeep in Maryland that goes by Adam's Jeep of Maryland and they are out of Annapolis, I have no idea what they are like. In addition, Adam's has a huge Jeep show every spring. |
