I had to take my 05 KJ back in after the 25k transmission fluid change. I had to reve the engine to 1500 to back out of the garage, unless I ran the engine for 5 minutes to pump the fluid back into the tranny. After I backed out and put it in gear I have to drive 30 ft to the gate and come to a stop, the tranny acted like it was still in 2nd gear and would stall coming to a stop. They said it was an old tranny filter that let the fluid drainout at night. |

They slipped you old inventory on the cooler return filter or forgot to change it. No checkvalve in the Cooler Return Filter (The Problem Filter) ending in #xxxxxxxAB. Check your slip for part numbers. #4799662 Cooler Return Filter (Looks like a small spin on oil filter) New Replacement. #5013470-AC Sump Filter. Both filters should have been changed. |
