I have been checking out diesel stations for a week now looking for ULSD around the Milwaukee area, but none to be found... Anyone seen it up here yet??? I don't want to spoil my EGR...

There's an Amoco station off Hampton and Hwy. 45 that used to carry Premier Diesel. Premier is some super good stuff. 50 cetane, lower sulfur than regular LSD, and likely ULSD by now.

When we lived up that way, I ran Premier exclusively in my TDI Jetta. Nothing else runs as well.

My wife, however, preferred Koch Gold diesel, available from Fleet Farm stores, and most Quick Trip stations. It's a 45 cetane premium fuel. The CRD got quite a bit better mileage on the Koch fuel.

Now I run B11 from several stations in the local area, and it seems to run well. Not sure about the sulfur content yet, though.

up in GB here ... seems most of the ones I stop at (Quik Trip) are ULSD .. although the Fleet Farm with the gold stuff is stickered LSD still

It's all over the place! Where in Milwaukee are you looking for it?

HWY45 and Hampton (BP Amoco) is ULSD
HWY 45 & HWY 60 (Amoco) is ULSD
Tri Par in Saukville (HWY 57) is ULSD
Fleet Farm in Plymouth (HWY 57) is NOT ULSD

Gosh guys thanks...I live in West Allis and work in East Troy. So I've been checking out the stations near work and around my apartment. All I've seen is LSD-per the stickers on the pumps. I haven't stopped at every single diesel station, but most of the ones I used to frequent with my F250 out of convenience are still LSD...

BTW just picked up my CRD last night from Van Horn Dodge up there in Plymouth...

Thanks for listing out some places for me to check out! I've tried searching it out on the web so I didn't have to spend a bunch of time driving around, but didn't have any luck with the web searches...

You may want to try asking at the filling station. All stations have been receiving ULSD since early September. The sulfur ppm count is probably close to pure ULSD by now through dilution, just haven't changed the stickers yet.

The Kwick-Trip in Windsor is USLD marked. It was stickered about a month ago. Now they have a sign on the pump that states it is winterized "Performance Gold" diesel. You can look it up on the net. Sounds like good fuel. I always buy my fuel from Kwick-Trip because they advertise that their fuel is guaranteed not to cause any fuel related problems. It's also a high volume seller and usually get a fuel delivery every 1-2 weeks.
