The already all-new Wrangler Unlimited gets a 3.0-liter diesel engine with 230 hp and 390 pounds feet of torque to handle just about any off-road obstacle we can think of. Don’t forget 18 inch wheels and big mud tires matched to a tweaked suspension that allows for 35 inches of clearance.

It has so much clearance it looks like one could do almost anything under it without jacking it up.
The description sounds fairly brawny -- they put a winch on it too.
Though the windows look tiny. I like the big windows on the Liberty.

Yeah, it looks great -- as a concept. If it ships as displayed I would want one, too.

But, the DC bean counters haven't had their whack at it. By the time they're done the factory models will have 14 inch tires with chrome spinner hubcaps, plastic bull bars on the bumpers, a winch rated to pull 100lbs, and they will all ship with defective EGRs just to save consumers waiting time for the first replacement.

And they will bill it as the new K-car for those aggressive soccer moms that must tackle ANY mall parking lot at any cost.

Howdy all,

The actual JK Unlimited Rubicon CRD is getting the new 2.8L VM Motori engine (redesigned totally). 340 ft-lb and 180 h.p. Optional 17" tires. Rubicon gets Dana 44s front and rear, up to a 4.10 limited slip in the diff. Transfer-case has 4:1 low range reduction. It's a beast.

Ummm... you mean in Europe?

When is it coming here to the States? If it is, I'll be taking a hit to my checkbook when I trade in the Libby CRD! :D
