OK, I'm sorta interested to know how many CRD folks are out there reading this forum. Us Liberty owners are a special group-a test bed-riding in the first car of the diesel train that's going sweep across North America finally! ![]() If you own a CRD Liberty, even if you're a lurker, could you please register and post up?! I'll go first: 2006 Jeep Liberty CRD Sport in BLACK Milwaukee, WI-USA ![]() |

2006 Silver Sport with tow pkge. Bought new 6 months ago and have put 13k miles on it. Salt Lake City area. No major repairs....milage seems to be dropping a tad from beginning. Had all TSB's performed. Had creaking break prob, but they fixed. Absolutely love vehicle. Only complaint would be the lag until I get to 1800 rpm's. WWV |

Info in Sig...I wonder what other CRD owners think when I see them on the road?... Do they even know that they own a "rare" vehicle? |

2005 CRD Sport. 1 EGR, 2 ball joints, 1 transmission and 26,000 miles later, and I still continue to stubbornly love my CRD! |

US Spec Liberty CRD 2006 living in Germany. The USA box for US spec is probably most correct. Mine is in the sig below. 9 1/2 months of use will roll over 10,000 miles in the next day or so. Door locks broke 28 days after purchase. No EGR replacement yet. Just oil changes, recalls, and the regular TSBs. No other outright mechanical failures. |

USA here. 2005 just turned 35,000 miles last night. Only problems were I blew off the hose going to the inter cooler (clamp problem), ball joint recall and half of the TSB for flashing. Long story short, only the engine computer (ECM) would take the flash and the transmission (TCM) wouldn't, but the dealer is working with DC to figure out how to get it flashed for me. |

I'm just over 15k miles. It's been parked for 3 months while I run the miles up on my van. But I just got a new toy for the family so I'll finally be putting the little diesel to work! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Love the Libby! Great drive -- fun and practical. Only real trouble was at 6600 miles -- EGR Check Engine Light code P0401. EGR on order and ProVent under consideration. Well-oiled EGR is clearly a design flaw that DCX needs to own up to and sort out before everyone's warranty runs out. |

25K miles on 2005 Limited, CEL is on, shop has been working on it for a four days. Today they are scheduled to replace the EGR. We'll see what happens. If the CEL problem gets resolved, it is the best vehicle I've ever owned. |

2005 Limited CRD in Silver with tow package, sirius, and heated seats. 8k miles, one oil change, no mods yet, except for fuel. Only problems have been 2 transmission re-flashes (one for crappy shifting, one for the recall on the first) and one cold-morning b100- sieze-up which was my fault ![]() |
