I called the service department of my dealer (Newark Delaware Chrysler/Jeep) to schedule the ball joint and tc recall work. To handle the Liberty recalls, they have hired an "Outsourced Recall Facilitator" that works part-time. Do you believe it? They said she will call me back and can probably schedule something in Jan or Feb - if Chrysler will supply them with the ball joints (they claim there are 36 waiting ahead of me, and suggested I try another dealership). They were clueless about the tc situation.

I'd call that first dealer back and thank them for referring you to another dealer ... sometimes some dealers and customers are just not in the right relationship ...

I think his dealer gave him a big brush off. Outsourcing warrenty work, what will come next. Glad I didn't buy from them and I thought of shopping there, but they didn't have any CRD in stock so I didn't bother. Star was only one that had fully loaded CRD Limited in Black and I took it right off the show room floor that same night.
