I called the service department of my dealer (Newark Delaware Chrysler/Jeep) to schedule the ball joint and tc recall work. To handle the Liberty recalls, they have hired an "Outsourced Recall Facilitator" that works part-time. Do you believe it? They said she will call me back and can probably schedule something in Jan or Feb - if Chrysler will supply them with the ball joints (they claim there are 36 waiting ahead of me, and suggested I try another dealership). They were clueless about the tc situation. |

I'd call that first dealer back and thank them for referring you to another dealer ... sometimes some dealers and customers are just not in the right relationship ... |

I think his dealer gave him a big brush off. Outsourcing warrenty work, what will come next. Glad I didn't buy from them and I thought of shopping there, but they didn't have any CRD in stock so I didn't bother. Star was only one that had fully loaded CRD Limited in Black and I took it right off the show room floor that same night. |
