Post subject:  Couple of cold weather questions

I tried doing a search but for some reason the firewall here at work is blocking it.

1) I’m looking for cold weather inserts for my ’06 CRD can’t find any that say they are for the ’06. Where can I find them?

2) Do any of you add the power service additive to the ULSD that is already winterized?

#2 - I always use the Power Service for the proclaimed extra lubrication and water dispersion properties - just not sure if it's really needed or not.

Use the search function and look up the topic "Cold Weather Grill Inserts" in the CRD section there is a two page thread on this with a comany that makes some nice looking grille inserts.

Then go into the CRD section and page forward about 4 pages and it should be towards the bottom of the list.

Can you hit this website to look at the products?

Why a cold wx screen for CRD? CRD has a heatpump that will help maintain engine temperature at all driving conditions if needed. Call me cheap, I guess.

A WORD OF WARNING:

My wife tried to order from the gofia website, and they emailed her asking for her Social Security number....which we don't give out to people over the internet and especially to someone who is in another country.
