How are VIN numbers assigned on Jeep Libertys? Are they assigned at time of order or when produced on the line in number order? Does anyone know if build sheets are hidden in the jeep anywhere? |

The reason I was asking, was on the jeep web site, under the recall section. I entered my vin and then the next vin back, and found that the 4 jeeps before mine were CRD's. That was 5 in a row, if the numbers are issued like that. I just like to find out as much as possible about my CRD. It would be great to have someone that worked on the line, making CRDs be on this site.

Go to any Chrysler Dealer parts counter with your Vin #, ask the guys or gals, POLITELY, if they'd run the build sheet for you.... I'll bet they will..... |
