I did some calculations and for a BFG A/T Ko I am leaning towards a 235/85/16. For RPM it looks like it will run 1639rpm@60mph (656 rotationsx.67 overdrivex3.73) 1912 rpm @ 70mph 2186 rpm @ 80mph as far as weight the 235 by 85's weigh in at 47lbs/tire and the 245's are at 50lbs/tire. Can anyone see a negative or draw back for going with the 235's over 245's? the width is .4+- inches less on the 235, and the 235's are 1.2 inches taller. Also does anyone have experience with both sizes? |

I ran the cookie cutters (235/85/16's) after my 265/75/16s wore out. They worked fine and since they were a little skinnier they fit in the wheelwell just fine. |

Thanks Darby, do you think that the CRD will be better suited to these because of the lower rpms it will be producing with the larger tire? Did it make your gasser a dog? |
