I'm sorry, I gave up on my CRD. Been to the dealership way too many times. Wife's been driving it, I've been driving my LJ. She tells me today that the CRD just popped a Check Engine Light, but appears to be driving fine. This will be the third bad EGR. If thats the case, then I am going to attempt to Lemon Law this thing. I want to be done with it once and for all. I'm very happy for all the people in here who havn't had any problems with their CRD's. If we didn't have any problems then we would just keep the thing. Now, I'm just times of the hassle.

I did not take it to the dealership as I am waiting the full 7 business days for DCX to respond to my "Last Chance Letter." Wife informed me that the light went off today on it's own. So, she took it to Auto Zone to have the computer read and it came back that the EGR valve was bad. The code was PO-401. I'll take it in some time after 19th of this month to get fixed. Attorney said he thinks from what he has seen so far, it looks like it's a Lemon. About 25 pages of repair history since July 05.

Three to four problems of the same nature. I spoke with my Lemon Law Attorney after faxing him all 26 pages of service history in 17 months time and he said that this sounds like a sure thing. I don't think he would take the case if he wasn't sure since I don't pay him a dime, DCX has to pay for his services. I want to be done with this POS. I'm actually thinking of buying another Wrangler as the wife and I love our LJ so much. I'm going to try and find a 2004-2005 Willy's edition Wrangler.
