I went out tonight to plug in my 01 Dodge with cummins and thought about the Jeep. I can not find the heater plug. Where are they hiding it. I got the manual out and it was no help. it said it was on the left side of the engine then in parentheses said on 3.7 L only. I know it says it is not required until it gets to 0 F. But the instant heat would be nice, wouldn't have to warm Jeep for so long in the morning. Just want to know.
Thanks
T

Plug is wrapped around the dipstick. Follow the stick down and you will see it wire tied.

Thanks for the input. You were exactly right. It was there. I cut it loose and routed it towards the front of the Jeep. May have to reroute it, Still can not get to it without raising the hood
Thanks again

Should be enough cord to run it out near the opening near the tow hooks, just barely, and it tucks right back up really nice, most people poke it though the grille too.

I brought mine out close to the hedlight and popped it out through one of the slats in the grill opening right behind my HELLA 500.

Is it easy to remove the block heater? I need to replace it with a 220V50hz one. Yes I know the 50hz is pointless.
