Fairly satisfied. Had to have it in for Intercooler hose falling off. EGR fix. Brakes replaced. And will be going in for the latest tranny, torque converter problem.

Very happy with how it works when its working.

No complaints with just over 19,000 miles. I've only been to the dealership for routine maintenance. I've had the balljoint recall done and nothing else. My build date is 12/05 and I purchased it in 4/06. The radiator shroud has a sticker that says the TCM was reprogrammed at the dealership before I bought it.

I had the first problem with the CRD last week. The drivers side rear window decided not to go up/down anymore. Fixed under warranty.

Unhappy,

Tired of problems cropping up and it having to sit at dealers. Concerned with long term reliability. Have had 3 EGR's and I'm again showing signs of EGR deterioration. Engine is again starting to make strange sounds and transmission seems to clunk since recall was done. Starting to think of bailing out while the mileage is still low (25,000).

I love mine. 12K miles in a little over six months with no problems. Generally run about 25% biodiesel. Gets me to work with decent fuel mileage and performs well off road.

Now I'm mad. I went into that limp mode / 3 cylinders / shaky / knocky mode AGAIN. That's the 2nd time this year ALREADY.

very happy with purchase but just the other day the engine went into some kind of limp mode or locked up in 3rd gear so I pulled into the jeep dealer and they pulled two codes 0083 and 0093 something to do with high pressure fuel and high level fuel leak. Can anybody give me some info about these two codes. And where do you buy the special oil drain valve everybody is writing about? Thanks

We are still happy with reliability and the go anywhere ability of the CRD. That said the wife is still wanting out of the rough riding and cramped (I asked her the other day if she needed a trailer to haul all the junk in her Jeep so she could keep the inside uncluttered) CRD into a car and likes the big Dodge Charger. May just keep the Jeep since the $ value has dropped so and just buy the wife an Avenger next fall.

I can't wipe the smile off my face either. Over 30mpg on the highway and it cruises thru town just fine.

We are going to need another ride in a year or so with the advancement of my son's age to 16. My wife is liking the Charger as well, and maybe the Mustang GT although it is lacking in the wide butt version. :D

The Mustang is a good looker and reminds us of our old Mustangs we had when we first got married. The problem is they are very unpractial, have to be heavy moded to just run the curves with a stock Charger. The Charger will get about 20% better mileage from what I have seen with friends Mustangs and Magnums/Charger and have less problems then the Mustang. Customer satifaction is extreemly high for LX car owners, with the Magnum being the highest.

I like the idea of a AWD Charger with the 3.5L engine and the W5A580 tranny with duel exhuast. 8)

Yea, I was thinking AWD too since this would be a commuter of 70 miles per day with our weather. Put 4 wheel studs on that thing and it ought to be a tank. Out here, we run studs all year long. I should have done it back in Missouri when we had those ice storms, but never had studs till we got out here. Thanks for the insight.
