Well, you've asked (and asked, and asked) for replacement front springs for your CRD for a long time. I know you'll be happy to find out that just today I got a call from OME and All J Products will be selling the only OME CRD rated FRONT SPRINGS available as replacement front springs! As I'm told, the OME CRD front springs will be rated at 500lbs (confirmed on 2/07) and will be 1mm thicker than the 927 springs - this is what we've been asking for and we will actually have them in about 8 weeks!!!!

We will get you pricing soon - look on the www.boulderbars.com web site for more info!

If you are one of the many who called us and said you wanted these OME CRD rated front springs, then you're going to be excited -- just send an email to All J Products at info@boulderbars.com and we'll get you on the list for the fist arrival of the OME CRD Rated Front Springs!

(Diesel Dave: Looks like testing the King Springs brand is no longer necessary.......)

That sounds good!

I assume this means we will eventually be able to buy preassembled front struts with these?

Are these longer than stock? I see no mention of length... Are you going to put together a new CRD Frankenlift using these springs? I'm holding out for a Frankenlift that doesn't use spacers. Hopefully it'll show up soon so my tax refund can go towards it. :D

X2
We want to know....is this a lift spring? Seems silly to make a stock length replacement...I am hoping this spring will provide about 2 inches of lift?

I hope they do.. this way I can ditch my OTT spacer lift and get some real springs.. :) .. by the time a lift get puts together.. we might have an aftermarket solution for our TC too..... The prospect of keeping my CRD is starting to look better

Sweet! I have the Daystar 2.5" kit sitting in the garage waiting to be installed, just might end up selling it and getting these springs instead.

Just spoke to Heather at All-J, the new OME springs are a full lift spring and will be available around March!

She said we really need to thank ARBSeth for making this happen, so THANKS SETH!

Awesome! Did she say anything about them putting together a new spacer-less, all-OME Frankenlift for the CRD?

I’m really hoping that the CRD gets all it’s Transmission problems worked out so I can feel better about investing in a lift. I was already sold on the Frankenlift, but now I’m even that more sold.

Yes, that is good news. But we badly need more technical info to make the right decisions. Spring rate, extended length, expected lift.

You guys hit on some good points. I’d like to see some figures on the front springs and what else has been added to the Frankenlift. Maybe I’ll give All J a phone call and find out more. But seriously, D/C or an aftermarket company better come up with a transmission solution or I might have to trade mine in. And trust me, I do not want to do that!

The standard OME rear coils work fine - no sag - it's the front that's a problem.

so, are the new OME 425 lb. rate coils going to support the weight of an ARB and winch on a gasser, let alone on the CRD's :?:

What was the spring rate that OZ used on his custom coils? He had a crd and a bumper. Not to sure about a winch though..

Why would they make stock replacement coils? I am sure that these will lift the crd's. :)

OZ stated a 465 lb. rate on the King coils.
