Well it has been just two weeks after F37 and now I get using the toggle ignition method a P0893 or if it transposes the last two digits a P0839. Neither of these are on Old Navy’s Standard OB II codes. Anybody have any idea.
VERY FRUSTRATED IN TEXAS. I now am at the point to where before my wife drive the car each morning I take it around the block.

P0839 = 4WD circuit high. Sounds like switch/wiring connector voltage that monitors the 4WD switch sees voltage out of range - had any work done lately? Unless DC has something else on that same circuit that could affect the reading, or your PCM flash was goofed up and is now throwing false codes. In spite of the explicit instructions on the TSB's involving flash procedures, I have seen a 2 hour flash performed on my CRD without any battery charger attached. Its little surprise that so many PCM's die or run erratically after dealer visits.

Ranger “had any work done lately- Ha Ha) Yeah that F37 where they dropped the transfer case etc. I bet they hooked something up wrong. I did notice the other day that the full time light was on when I started it up. All I did was push level all the way back down and the light went off. I will take it to the dealer but this is just a light right? The lever has to be moved to go into 4 wheel drive correct?

Yes. But if they are that sloppy, it wouldn't hurt to do your own underside inspection on the drivetrain and make sure everything has at least all the bolts back in place.
