I have decided to purchase a DC Factory Extended Warranty from Chryslerwarranties.com
today as I've discovered that trading in for a more reliable vehicle will cost me way more in the long run than the cost of a warranty. Problem is, I can only afford a max of about $1700 for a warranty. I also am not sure as to how the dudctible works. It states that it's paid per repair visit (i.e. if the transmission gets replaced, then goes south 1,000 miles later I'd have to pay another deductible).
I can afford a 7yr/85k mi/$0deduct at $1,635 - but puts me in a long term bind for mileage. Chrysler Maximum Care Plan.
I can afford a 7yr/100k mi/$100 deduct at $1,745 - but puts me into the deductible delima. Chrysler Maximum Care Plan.
Or, buy nothing since I have the 7/70 powertrain and diesel engine component warranty already.....
Also, I'll have to find a worthy dealer - but I think that can be achieved as I've had local support here in finding some other than the one that's really burnt me up.
Opinions please!
